(about….now)

As we enter our 14th Season we have so much exciting news to report.

Our beloved chairman and co-Founder, Dave Caplan is stepping down this year.  But only as chairman of the Voices Committee.  He will still be involved on a regular basis continuing to share his vast musical knowledge and infectious enthusiasm for Voices Cafe - a child he has helped raise from infancy to childhood to adulthood.  He has begun planning his retirement from his day job and wants to spend more time with his large extended family and clutch of grandchildren.  We wish him well but will see him still.

As part of a well planned transition process we have reformed the Voices committee to now include two co-chairpersons.  Jenny Klein and Shahan Islam.  As long time committee members and very active volunteers, they are in the perfect position to lead and guide Voices towards an exciting and expansive future.  Along with offering the same kind of powerful, inspirational live music presentations as before we are thinking of expanding the use of our world class stage to include presentations from some of the most important thought leaders of our time.  Because this is a relatively new undertaking please stay tuned for announcements as to who and when this will be.  Now that we have the video broadcasting  technology worked out we're very excited to be offering these kinds of presentations.

As for our upcoming regular live music shows expect what you have come to always expect from Voices Cafe.  World class live musical artists on a world class stage in a stunning world class venue. And this year we are hoping to include our audience to help pick the acts.  More on this shortly.  Hope to see you all soon.  It's time to get re energized and re excited.  We are.

Voices Cafe performances are at The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Westport, a diverse and welcoming religious community, free of creed and dogma, and open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
